Director Interview:

"The strongest memories I have from making "Barbarossa and the Towers of Italy," are the awe-inspiring vistas where the watchtowers are located. And then to have the opportunity to stand inside one of these ancient structures, and look out the sentry’s window; and then envision what it was like to see the sail of a Saracen pirate ship on the horizon; well, it sent chills up my spine.  The significance of the history for each one of them; it’s just overwhelming."    Tony Schweikle
